All online orders are processed with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology using 128-bit encryption, the highest industry standard; it encrypts your account information to prevent any unauthorized third-party access. Orders may be placed in the following ways: Online: The quickest method. Click on the "Add To Cart" button next to the product desired. AFDM's shopping cart is a real-time online cart, which means your order will be processed electronically and your credit card automatically charged at the time your order is placed. If you do not want your credit card charged immediately, then please email us at orders@afewdollsmore.com, and we will make arrangements for when you would like your card charged. We are happy to accommodate our clients. Email: If you wish to specify something unusual about your order, or feel uncomfortable placing your order online, please feel free to email your order to orders@afewdollsmore.com. Please provide us with your telephone number because you will need to give us your credit card information by telephone (NEVER email credit card information!). For your convenience, you can easily email us by clicking on the Contact Us link on the bottom left of every page. Do I Receive An Order Confirmation? All orders placed online will receive an email confirming the order (minus personal information, such as your credit card number). Order confirmation will be sent to the email address indicated on the order. Please check all information on the order, including email and shipping addresses, before clicking to submit the order in the shopping cart. Orders placed by email or telephone will also receive an email confirming details of the order, provided that you have given us your email address. AFDM indicates on the website when an item is out of stock. An item may be "Back-Ordered" (temporarily sold out, but expected back in stock soon), "Pre-Ordered" (a new release the manufacturer has not yet begun shipping, expected to be in stock, date usually uncertain), "Special Order" (not a stock item but possibly obtainable either from the manufacturer or on the secondary market), or "Sold Out" (no longer reorderable from the manufacturer). Sometimes we may be able to acquire a Sold Out item; please call or email us to see if we can find it. We sell our dolls at doll and collectible shows as well as online, so sometimes an item shown as "In Stock" may sell out before we can so indicate on the website. If we expect a long delay in receiving our re-order of the item, we will advise you as to when you may expect delivery. If the item is sold out and cannot be re-ordered from the manufacturer, you will be given the option to select another item or receive an immediate refund. If you have not received your order within 21 days, please email us at orders@afewdollsmore.com. All items shipped are insured and tracked. Pre-Orders, Special Orders and Cancellation Fees All orders are processed immediately. In the case of Special Orders and Pre-Orders, cancellations are not permitted, and the deposit will be forfeited if full payment is not received within the stipulated time frame. If we know the price of a Special Order item and have indicated that price on the website, it may be ordered online. If there is no price listed on the website for the item, you can place a Special Order by email. Tell us what you would like to order, and as soon as we know if we can obtain the item, we will notify you of the price and anticipated delivery date. If you then decide to go ahead, we will process the order and a minimum 50% deposit will be required at that time. In the case of Special Orders, you will need to give us your credit card information by telephone (NEVER email this information!). If you are paying by money order or personal check, the order will not be placed with the supplier until funds have been received and any checks have cleared. When an item ordered under a Special Order or Pre-Order has been received by us, your credit card will be charged for any remaining balance, and the item will be shipped immediately. If you are paying by any other means, the remaining balance must be paid with 14 days from the date of our email informing you that the product is available. If payment is not received within that time, the deposit will be forfeited. Orders may be paid for in the following ways: Credit Cards/PayPal: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover/Novus through Paypal. All online credit card orders are processed immediately. Because we have a real-time online shopping cart, you will know if your credit card is declined when you place your order. In that case, please use another card or select a different method of payment. Our shopping cart is set up to accept PayPal. When you are ready to pay for your purchase, check out the same as if you were going to use any other payment method. We accept PayPal payments from credit cards, debit cards or checking accounts. Money Order and Personal Check: Money orders and personal checks should be made payable to A Few Dolls More and mailed to: A Few Dolls More Items purchased by money order will be shipped within 24 hours of receipt of the money order, assuming the item is in stock. Items purchased by personal check will not be shipped until the check has cleared our bank. If the buyer elects to pay by money order or personal check, we cannot hold orders for more than ten (10) business days waiting for payment to be received. US Currency Only: We are happy to accept international orders. All international orders must be paid for in US dollars. Please use the currency converter on the right side of every page to view our store in your currency. If your currency is not included in the converter, please contact us at orders@afewdollsmore.com so we can include it. No COD Shipments: We do not ship COD. AFDM offers a 60-Day Layaway Plan and a 90-Day Layaway Plan: 60-Day Plan: For items ordered at the same time totalling between $50 and $499, we offer a 60-day layaway plan. Payments are as follows: 1/3 paid at the time of ordering, 1/3 due 30 days after the order date, and the final 1/3 due 60 days after the order date. There is no finance charge. 90-Day Plan: For items ordered at one time totalling $500 or more, we offer a 90-day layaway plan. Payments are as follows: 1/4 paid at the time of ordering, 1/4 due 30 days after the order date, 1/4 due 60 days after the order date, and the final 1/4 due 90 days after the order date. There is no finance charge. Minimum Layaway $50: We do not offer layaway on purchases that total less than $50. Cancellation Charges: If a layaway order is cancelled, the first payment will be treated as a restocking fee and will be forfeited. Any remaining funds paid will be given back to the buyer as a store credit. There are no refunds under any circumstances. Late Payment Policy: If a payment is more than 30 days late, the order will be cancelled, the first payment (treated as a restocking fee) will be forfeited immediately, and any remaining funds paid will be converted to a store credit. No Price Adjustments: The price of any item ordered under a layaway plan will be the price on the date the item was ordered, even if the price of the item is subsequently increased or reduced. How To Place a Layaway Order: To place a layaway order email us orders@afewdollsmore.com. Sales Tax There will be no sales tax charged on any order shipped outside the State of New York. If we are shipping to a New York address, we must charge 8.00% sales tax. All orders are shipped out on Saturdays by 2pm only. Orders placed after that time will be sent the following Saturday. If you have a special shipping request, please email us at orders@afewdollsmore.com before placing your order. Domestic Shipments at Actual Cost: Orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or if requested by Buyer, Express Mail. If the buyer requests expedited shipping, the buyer will pay the additional cost. International Shipments at Actual Cost: All international orders, regardless of value, will be shipped at their actual cost, which will be billed to the buyer. The method of shipment may be specified by the buyer. No Post Office Boxes: We do not ship to Post Office boxes. Incorrect Addresses: If we are given an incorrect address and a shipment is returned to us, the buyer will be responsible to pay the cost to re-ship the item. If the item is delivered and we are charged an additional fee to correct the address, that fee will be billed to the buyer. Prompt Shipment: If an order cannot be shipped within seven (7) business days from the time payment was received, we will endeavor to notify the buyer and advise as to the anticipated shipment date. No Refunds: All sales are final, and there are absolutely no cash refunds, except under one of the following two circumstances: (1) we are unable to ship the item ordered; or (2) the item shipped is defective and cannot be repaired or replaced by us. ALL "SALE" ITEMS ARE SOLD 'AS IS'; THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON SALES ITEMS. Return of Wrongly Shipped or Defective Items: Due to the collectible nature of these items, we cannot guarantee that returns will be accepted, unless the item was (i) shipped by us in error, or (ii) found to be defective or damaged, in which case it may be returned for repair or replacement. We inspect all items before they leave our store to ensure that the item is in mint condition. We must be notified of an incorrect, damaged, or defective shipment within three (3) business days of the date of delivery. For any incorrect or defective item shipped by Fedex, we will arrange for Fedex to pick up the item and ship it back to us. We will pay the shipping costs for the return of a wrongly shipped or defective item and re-shipment of the replacement item. In all such cases, we will determine the method of shipping. Before any defective items are returned to us, a damage claim must be filed with Fedex, so they can inspect the item prior to its return. Please be sure to report any damage or breakage to the carrier and to us without delay. You must retain all packaging materials for the carrier's inspection. Return of Non-Defective Items: Items that are not defective or wrongly shipped may be returned, at the sole discretion of AFDM, subject to the following conditions:
